Half Marathon starts at 7am
Start & Finish Location
We will have the same great location for this half marathon. The start & finish area are in Cameron Village. The half marathon will start and finish on Woodburn Rd. in front of Capital RunWalk.
Packet Pick-Up will take place at Capital RunWalk located at 430 Woodburn Rd. Raleigh, NC 27605 on Friday October 3, 2014 from 4pm-7pm and Saturday October 4, 2014 from 11am-2pm. There will be race day packet pick-up at Capital RunWalk from 6am-6:45am.
There will not be any race day registration for either race. Someone else can pick up your race packet for you but they will need a photocopy of your driver’s license or some other form of photo ID.
All half marathon finishers will receive a custom Rock’N Rebellion 13.1 finisher’s medal at the finish line.
Tazza Kitchen (formerly Café Caturra) will be sponsoring the beer garden again for all runners 21 years + We will also have terrific after-race food & drinks to help rejuvenate the runners.
TRIPLE CROWN MEDAL – FALL 2014
We are excited to continue the Fall Triple Crown Series 2014. In our appreciation for your support, the Rock’N Rebellion 13.1, Race 13.1 Midtown Raleigh (Sept 20th), and the Hallowed Half Half Marathon (Oct 26th) has partnered to present those who run all 3 half marathons an unique “39.3 Triple Crown” medal. The RunRaleigh Half Marathon’s new name is Rock’N Rebellion 13.1 The deadline for signing up for all 3 races is Sept 14th
We are proud to announce FS Series is once again the official timing company for the October 5, 2014 Rock’N Rebellion 13.1 & 5K. FS Series is an event production & timing company based in Raleigh/Cary, NC. FS Series uses the RFID Ultra Timing system from RFID Timing Systems. This will be a convenient disposable bib tag. There will be 3 pace groups: 2 hrs 2:15 and 2:30
If you wish to volunteer, please contact Paula O’Neal at email@example.com. Volunteers will be assisting at the start/finish area, water stations, and as course monitors.
Rules and Regulations
Although the race benefits the SPCA of Wake County, for the safety of the dogs and participants, we do not allow dogs in either race. We also do not allow inline skates, skateboards, roller skates or any mode of transportation other than running or walking.
If the race should be cancelled, delayed or postponed for conditions beyond the control of the Race Director (i.e., weather, National/State/Local emergencies), there are no refunds. Packet pick up will still be made available at Capital Run/Walk.
The Race Director or Race Committee reserves to right to remove any participant from the race course at our discretion.
